Had been updated but there were remnants of the past and unfinished areas.
This was a nice location for an affordable overnight or short stay that requires little time spent in the actual hotel. It was not a luxury hotel by any means but not budget either. The Vols football team stayed there before the game.
Distance from the stadium.
Very nice, clean up scale hotel. I would stay there again! It is a long walk to the stadium but the nicest hotel in the close proximity.

Easy to find, near historic Downtown, restaurants and nightlife.
Parking area dingy on lowest level, no elevator to this level and no security I could see.
I liked the location of this hotel for Downtown activities. It is pet friendly. There is a free trolley that stops right in front of the hotel.

Everything and everyone was so curtius. They went above and beyone my expectaions.
I did not like or enjoyed having to pay to park in their parking garage.
This hotel was so clean. The staff were very helpful.I had locked my keys in my car and they stopped what they were doing to help me out. I'll never forget it.

It was easy to find.
I did not like being placed on a floor with guests who were attending their family reunion.
We checked in around 6:30 PM and I should have immediately requested to be relocated to another floor when I saw MANY guests in the hallway of our floor wearing family reunion T-Shirts and yelling/visiting from room to room. I incorrectly assumed that the yelling, laughing, slamming of doors, etc would not be going on at midnight. I think the hotel should do a better job of monitoring this type of behavior and should not put guests who are not attending the family reunion on the same floor. ...read more
